Anna contemporary mix media visual artist. Primary holding interest in performance art, installation, painting and sculpture. Her works explores relationship between class, society, cultural identity and a life as a performance in everyday thing.
Her macabre inner world spews out in the form of bright and vibrant colours, creating a unique and psychedelic narrative. Through a variety of medium Anna explores the realms of myth, legend and post-human concepts, mashing them with her dreams and childhood reminiscence to compose an amalgamation of bittersweet experiences within her work.
A large inspiration for the work comes from Japanese culture that has been oversaturated in the environment she grew up in. This over the years has influenced a specific aesthetic.
Her subjects, often burlesque and over sexualized, offer a sense of innocence while managing to blend into elaborate and realistic installations.
The aura of her characters as they play out stories in their own little world gives off a special oddness, fabricated from the artists fresh look at surrealistic art.
